About the Role

Job Purpose:
As the Operations Manager for Elite Co. Oman, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery and pick-up of shipments across Oman. You'll lead a team, optimize operations, and contribute to the overall success of our branch.


- Provide strong leadership and direction to the Oman branch operations team.
- Leverage your in-depth knowledge of Omani geography to develop efficient delivery routes.
- Effectively allocate tasks to team members, monitor progress, and provide ongoing support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment tracking within our systems.
- Handle customer inquiries and manage email communications related to escalations, invoice disputes, and reports.
- Oversee safe and efficient loading and unloading of shipments.
- Ensure the seamless operation of the Oman branch, proactively identifying and resolving any issues.
- Report and investigate any shipment damage, liaising with the relevant teams for replacements and cost deductions.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a proactive approach in managing fluctuations in shipment volume.


About You:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a logistics or operations management role.

  • Skills:

    • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and empower a team.

    • In-depth knowledge of Omani geography and logistics regulations.

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

    • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
