Human Resources Coordinator (Generalist) - UAE

About the Role

Job Purpose:
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting HR functions, with a specific focus on the integration of the acquired company into Elite Co. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organisation during a transformative period.

Duties and Responsibilities
Integration:
• Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a smooth integration of the acquired company, providing support in areas such as onboarding, training, and communication of HR policies and procedures related to the integration.
• Work closely with the HR Manager to develop and implement strategies that align the acquired company’s workforce with Elite Co.'s culture and values.
• Assist in addressing employee concerns related to the integration process and act as a liaison between the acquired company and Elite Co. HR.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to harmonize HR policies and procedures across the organization, ensuring consistency and compliance.

HR Administration:
• Manage day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including but not limited to, maintaining employee records, processing documentation, and addressing queries.

Recruitment Support:
• Aid in the recruitment process by coordinating interviews, conducting initial screenings, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.

Employee Relations:
• Assist in handling employee relations matters by providing guidance on HR policies and procedures, conducting investigations, and supporting conflict resolution.

Training and Development:
• Collaborate with the HR team to identify training needs and assist in the coordination of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Financial
• Look at ways to reduce costs and increase productivity within the department
• Support the HR Manager in budget forecast and headcount planning.

Culture
• Act as an ambassador of our values
• Attends regular HR team meetings and provide updates on deliverables and projects

Requirements

Education and Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, CIPD/SHRM or another relevant qualification is required


Knowledge and Skills

  • Familiarity with HRMS and LinkedIn Boolean search

  • Basic knowledge of labour legislation

  • Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices

  • Good in MS Office suite

  • Good verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills


Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an HR coordinator / generalist, or similar role
