About the Role
Job Purpose
Elite Co., a Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) based company, is seeking a motivated Cost Booking Executive to join our team. In this role, you will ensure accurate and cost-effective booking for all our cross-border trucking & freight operations.
What You’ll Do (Key Accountabilities)
● Handling the petty cash for JAFZA office, paying the drivers against their trip papers, and keeping an accurate record of the cash.
● Coordinating with the drivers to hand over the trip papers at the earliest in the office, so that the cost is booked in the system.
● Communication with the Vendors to submit their transportation Invoices with supporting documents so that the invoices are booked in time.
● Processing LPOs in the system and keeping track of individual costs and other details for visibility in other departments.
Requirements
Education and Certification
● Bachelors in Commerce or any related field
● Accounting Certification (if Any)
Knowledge and Skills Needed to do the Job.
(Job-Specific Competencies required to successfully perform the job)
● Experience with Trucking
● Cost Booking Experience of Cross Border and Familiar with the documents Involved.
● Awareness of the Cost involved in Land Freight.
● Understanding the type of trucks involved in land freight.
● Excellent communication in English, Hindi, or any other Language will be an advantage.
● IT Skills in MSOffice Excel,
● Soft skills & personality needed like Teamwork, Problem Solving etc.

Experience
● At least 2 – 3 Years of Experience in Trucking or a similar role in logistics operations
● Experience in Accounting Techniques
● Track record of achieving goals and targets
